Handle with Care - Jodi Picoult

Jodi Picoult is one of my favourite author
This is because her story is always full of emotion
whenever i read her books, i am able to imagine those characters and feel their emotions that you will cry and laugh with them.

 And, Handle with Care is one of the books that I have read.

Charlotte O'Keefe and Sean O'Keefe was happily married and was trying to have baby by all methods. So when Charlotte was pregnant, they were overjoyed.However, good thing don't last for long, it was found out that her baby will be born with osteogenesis imperfecta Type III- a very severe form of brittle bone diseases.

This is an expensive illness, Charlotte has to quit her job in order to take care of Willow and the family faces financial ruin. Then in a sudden situation, Charlotte found a lifeline- to sue her obstetrician for a 'wrongful birth'. In this case, the doctor appear to be her best friend in town, who has matchmade Sean and her and in fact, she has to stand up in the court and declared that if she had known in advanced about the disability, she would rather her daughter never been born...

This case is so rare, what's more it happens in a small town where news spread fast. It attracted media from all over the countries and even handicapped organisation. So, what is the ending? Will she be success? Will she able to take the stress? Will Willow be upset when she know that her mom actually is suing her best friend because her mom rather she never been born? Or will Willow be able to understand what  her mom is doing? Will her husband give her the full support? Will the judge trust her?

The ending is a twist that you never expect and the story has reflected out the inner voice of the families with disability and you will start thinking," will it be better that if you are born with disabilities or disable due to incidents after you are born".
